Each year group uses the National Curriculum 2014 as a base for the broad and balanced planning of their year groups curriculum, alongside the use:

-of a range of rich- texts to inspire and enthuse, which embrace Equity and Equality and are broad, diverse, challenging, and current.

-of linked learning which joins subjects, embeds skills and knowledge, and helps reinforce learning,

-of the National Outdoor Curriculum which seeks to inspire and create adventure and curiosity,

-of National theme days and weeks which are used to fully immerse the children, ensure the curriculum is current and relevant, and reinforce learning- through drama, days out, visitors, and much more,
