How does a normal day at WJS work?
Gates open - 08:30. You come in by the back gate and say goodbye to your adult and go straight to your classroom.
Break: 11:.00 – 11:15. You can play in the playground, on the all-weather pitch or on the clamber stack with your friends. If you prefer to play somewhere quieter, you can play in the games zone. There are all sorts of toys to play with in here and Leanne from the Well-Being Team and the Games Zone monitors will look after you.
Assembly 11:15 – 11:30. Two times a week we have a whole school assembly and the rest of the week you will have an assembly just for Lower School (Year 3 and 4). One of these assemblies will be a singing one!
Lunch: 12:30 - 1:25. You will get to go into the hall first to eat your lunch. You can have a school dinner or you can bring your own lunch from home – whichever you like! You will sit on a table with your friends. After you have eaten your lunch, you put your hand up and an adult will let you go out to play in the playground.
Afternoon lessons start 1:25. You will have registration.
School finishes – 3:15. You will be taken to the playground by your teacher to find the adult collecting you.
